The Wedding Quilt

When the wedding invitations were sent out a piece of fabric was enclosed. I asked everyone to decorate a square.

This is my square.

I've been working on this off and on for the past few years. I originally thought it was going to be much smaller and I could carry it around to events to work on. It's been to Fencing Nationals in Ohio, spent a week with me in Texas....but it was too much to carry around and I was afraid it was going to get ruined.

Some of the squares needed to be reworked and some I embroidered, embellished and beaded. I wanted to do so much more, but the squares speak for themselves and really don't need anything else!

Robert and Ellen loved it and I'm glad it's finally home.

Passover's Over

So, the house was cleaned and the food was cooked. Only thing left to do was give the boys a bath.

They were not happy!

Time for Seder. Starting from bottom left - Hubby Jonathan, brother-in-law Lloyd, my sister Diane, my daughter Arielle, nephew Jason, Arielle's friend Renata, hubby's brother Rob and my sister-in-law Ellen, Karen a cousin-in-law and Alan - hubby's cousin, my neice Jordy, hubby's brother Dave and my sister-in-law Chris.

And for a brief moment, I got to sit down too!

It was a great day.

The boys were happy to get to sleep.

Mom's Necklace

I spent a few days during spring break with my mom and made this for her while I was there. It's made from potato pearls, swarovski crystals, gemstones and sterling silver. It really sparkles!
I think she liked it!

March 8th - The King and I Cast Party - Our House

We had 150 or so of the cast, crew, pit, etc., etc., etc., to our house! We told them to leave their coats etc., etc., etc., in the front office and....

leave their shoes, etc., etc., etc., by the front door. We had no idea!!!

There was one party going on in the basement....

Another party on the main floor.....

And another upstairs! Great Night, Great Kids!

March 8th - The King and I Final Performance

Arielle was both playing in the pit and on stage. It was a great performance!
