Bead Soup Blog Party Update

I was lucky enough to be able to participate in this wonderful project

http://lorianderson-beadsoupblogparty.blogspot.com/

and given a very talented partner to exchange beads with. I am a beadweaver and my partner, Genea Crivello-Knable is an amazing, *AMAZING* lampworker.

We sent teasers to each other about what we were going to receive.

This is a tease of my soup to Genea -

And this was her photo tease for me -

She promptly received my beads which were unveiled as:

And last we heard Genea's beads were scanned at the Kearny, NJ postal service on 8/23. Then they disappeared. Here is what I should have received:

Genea has written a wonderful blog post on her site if you would like to see these in more detail.

They are amazing and hopefully they will find their way home someday.

My amazing partner Genea is sending another package of soup and our wonderful leader Lori Anderson will be sending some beads to me also. There were a few similar beads on Genea's etsy site to the ones she sent me and I snatched them up. I just had to have them after being so excited for them. When I know more, I will update you.

Happy Beading!
