Wanted to Share...

So, it's been a fun couple of weeks! Ted came in 5th place at the North American Cup in his division in Fencing. He didn't move up in ranking but had a wonderful time!

While he and his dad were there I was with Arielle. The high school band performed at Giants Stadium. It was an awesome experience!

So, here is a picture of the doll I made in the Sherry Goshen and Jean Bernard class at Doll U in Seattle last week. Her body is fabric and soft sculpted. I was taught how to turn fingers using turning tools....need lots of practice with that! We learned how to use molds and masks and adhere them to the fabric. We decoupaged the body and surface embellished. We used Apoxie sculpt for the armature and learned some different painting techniques. So much more, I hope I remember it all.

As soon as I finish "The Quilt" I've been working on forever, I hope to play some more with dolls!!!!

Just back from Doll U in Seattle!!!!

Cathy Fulton, an unbelievably talented doll artist, was my neighbor at Doll U in Seattle this past week. She "borrowed" from me some of our TAC exclusive papers for use in her doll. I'm honored to have them included in her artwork. Isn't it wonderful!!!!!
