catching up

well, i am still recovering from falling asleep in a hot car for 3 hours, falling down the stairs and surgery. they say things come in threes.....that's it for me, definitely much better and looking up. i made my first card using TAC products, finally! (although i did copy the idea for it!) it didn't scan very well but here it is anyway:

that leaves me with 1 round robin book to work on, the last one of a round robin with 11 players. and, my never ending quilt for my sister-in-law and brother-in-law...that has so far been 2 1/2 years in the making.

my son has been away to a summer studies program at brown university and will be touring colleges. my daughter just left with a student ambassador group to australia and new zealand.

i am happy to report that my dad's heart seems to be holding up well and he got the okay to resume activities. mom is doing great. my hubby has slowly gotten his voice back, he has developed polyps on his vocal cord. we'll find out what we need to do about that in a few weeks. i hope to be productive in the mean time! enjoy! gv
