Me and My Sister Diane

Just one of the many reasons I have so many unresolved issues from childhood. Thanks mom. I Love You.

p.s. As always, I'm the shorter heavier one.

The Wedding Quilt

When the wedding invitations were sent out a piece of fabric was enclosed. I asked everyone to decorate a square.

This is my square.

I've been working on this off and on for the past few years. I originally thought it was going to be much smaller and I could carry it around to events to work on. It's been to Fencing Nationals in Ohio, spent a week with me in Texas....but it was too much to carry around and I was afraid it was going to get ruined.

Some of the squares needed to be reworked and some I embroidered, embellished and beaded. I wanted to do so much more, but the squares speak for themselves and really don't need anything else!

Robert and Ellen loved it and I'm glad it's finally home.

Passover's Over

So, the house was cleaned and the food was cooked. Only thing left to do was give the boys a bath.

They were not happy!

Time for Seder. Starting from bottom left - Hubby Jonathan, brother-in-law Lloyd, my sister Diane, my daughter Arielle, nephew Jason, Arielle's friend Renata, hubby's brother Rob and my sister-in-law Ellen, Karen a cousin-in-law and Alan - hubby's cousin, my neice Jordy, hubby's brother Dave and my sister-in-law Chris.

And for a brief moment, I got to sit down too!

It was a great day.

The boys were happy to get to sleep.

Mom's Necklace

I spent a few days during spring break with my mom and made this for her while I was there. It's made from potato pearls, swarovski crystals, gemstones and sterling silver. It really sparkles!
I think she liked it!

March 8th - The King and I Cast Party - Our House

We had 150 or so of the cast, crew, pit, etc., etc., etc., to our house! We told them to leave their coats etc., etc., etc., in the front office and....

leave their shoes, etc., etc., etc., by the front door. We had no idea!!!

There was one party going on in the basement....

Another party on the main floor.....

And another upstairs! Great Night, Great Kids!

March 8th - The King and I Final Performance

Arielle was both playing in the pit and on stage. It was a great performance!

Update on the boys

Moe is now slightly bigger then his big brother. Here they are going for a ride in the car, they are quite cute together.
They love the snow, as do I!

Family Weekend at Pomona

We got to the airport and the tram was not working. We walked from parking to the terminals along with 1000 other people. It was wild walking along the highway!!!

After arriving at the gate I found confirmation on what I had known for years, men ARE from MARS!

Awh......

Ted and Marshall's room is set up for "Rock Band" and we quickly became addicted!

My cousin Lynn and Aunt Phyllis arrived in time for the show.

For those who don't know rock band, it's drums, guitars and microphones hooked up to a game system and displayed on the TV.

We actually spent most of the weekend at different activities that were set up by the college. We also sat in on one of Ted's Chinese classes and watched him play soccer for a little bit.

While walking around town we saw these cute little puppies.

If we weren't flying home they would have come home with us!!!

Sunday night we walked into town with some of Ted's friends from the dorm.

We ate at a great sandwich shoppe.

Jonathan was happy to be home and finally getting some sleep. I am thinking he is dreaming of California.

Arielle's Birthday

Arielle said no balloons, but I couldn't resist Elmo! Joey baked Arielle a cake, and it was delicious! (And we appreciated it also!) Her first Ganache! It really was yummy! Some friends came by to celebrate. And, you see...the balloons were a hit! Especially the singing one!

Arielle's Surprise 16th Birthday Celebration!

Arielle was woken up by Kassi, Joey and Amanda. She was really surprised. They told her to get dressed...... We arrived a little bit later at the bus station and she realized we were heading to NYC! 1st stop, Hello Kitty! Then to Sephora where, Surprise!!!!! Michelle Joined us for the Day! We went and played at Toys R Us for a little bit. Then it was time for a snack at the Roxy! Michelle and Arielle, forever onion rings! We walked around time square for a bit. And then, Surprise!!!!! We're going to see Xanadu! After a play you just have to go to Carmines! Laura and Steve, Beth and Walter, Jeb and Peter were there to greet us! Arielle was totally surprised, it was a PERFECT day!!!
